If you're anything like me, that post workout shake simply can't come soon enough! After a hard personal training session in the gym, outdoors, at a bootcamp or at home, you've earned that shake, I look forward to mine all day!
I like to make mine chocolatey and sweet tasting, it helps keep off that sweet craving each day, only difference is, this is great post workout nutrition.
So try this out, it is the greatest protein shake EVER (that I've made).
1 tablespoon of Cacao nibs
1 tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder (70% dark)
1 serving of whey protein of choice
1 medium banana
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
4 Ice cubes
Water or Milk of choice 300ml
Get it all into a blender, and blend until smooth.
Drink this within 2 hours post workout to kick start your recovery.
